Common material types used by Aluminum Grid Ceiling
As you all know, Aluminum Grid Ceiling is the most commonly used building material for Ceiling decoration. Although it is made of Aluminum, there is a difference. In general, the Aluminum Ceiling materials on the market are all made of Aluminum alloy, it's not just pure Aluminum, because the amount of Aluminum in the Ceiling determines the properties of Aluminum products. Here's a look at some of the materials used to make the Aluminum Grid Ceiling.
In the current Aluminum Grid Ceiling market, Aluminum alloys fall into roughly three categories:
The first type: is aluminum-magnesium alloy, that is, aluminum as the main component, which contains a part of manganese, aluminum-magnesium alloy is very short and the raw material oxidation resistance is good, because of the manganese content, at the same time, its has a certain compressive strength and bending stiffness, which makes it the most ideal alloy material for Aluminum Grid Ceiling.

The second type: Aluminum-manganese alloy, as the name implies, with manganese as the aluminum alloy raw material, the raw material's compressive strength and bending stiffness are slightly better than aluminum-magnesium alloy, but slightly lower oxidation resistance than aluminum-magnesium alloy.
The third type is aluminum alloy, aluminum alloy manganese, and magnesium content is less. Therefore, its compressive strength and bending stiffness are significantly smaller than aluminum-magnesium alloy and aluminum-manganese-aluminum alloy. Because its manganese, and magnesium content is not much, the strength of the aluminum alloy is soft and conducive to production and processing, but in some specific projects will also be used.
These are the three materials used by Aluminum Grid Ceilings. I hope they can help you. If you want to customize Aluminum Grid Ceiling, please contact us.
